WEB Warriors beat Kings 118-94

Game 4 of West 1st Round

April 16, 2024 on ESPN

The Golden State Warriors sent the Sacramento Kings home last season by rallying to win a seven-game first-round playoff series with the finale set. The Warriors won against the Kings 126 to 125 in Game 4 of the 2023 First Round on April 23, 2023.

This time around, the Warriors made sure there would be no repeat of last season's disappointment. They took control of Game 4 from the opening tip and never looked back, leading by as many as 24 points in the third quarter.

Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors with 27 points, while Klay Thompson added 22 points and Andrew Wiggins had 20 points. De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 21 points, but he was the only Sacramento player to score in double figures.

The Warriors' defense was stifling, holding the Kings to just 38.1% shooting from the field and 28.6% shooting from three-point range. The Warriors also forced 15 turnovers, which they converted into 22 points.

The win gives the Warriors a 3-1 lead in the series, and they can clinch a berth in the second round with a win in Game 5 on Tuesday night.
